MINIATURE WORKS OF ART

Growing up around a mother passionate about art and culture, David Gotlib trained his eye from a young age onwards. Today, he pours his sensibility for beauty in the design of cufflinks reminiscing of miniature works of art. Inspired by the vibrant creativity of his hometown of Antwerp, Art Deco architecture and nature, David mixes precious gold and diamonds in surprising pocket sculptures. DAVID GOTLIB cufflinks are a treat to those yearning for a shot of aesthetic energy in their everyday lives.

WEARABLE MEMORY HOLDERS

When his oldest son celebrated his Bar Mitzvah, David’s grandmother gifted him a set of cufflinks that belonged to his recently deceased grandfather. The cufflinks threw David back in time to the day his parents bought them in Switzerland as a birthday present. Thirty years later, he was touched by the persistent beauty of the gift as well as by all the stories and memories it recalled. Inspired by the way in which jewelry materializes milestone moments, gestures of affection or aspirations of luck, David designs his cufflinks as wearable memory holders to pass down through generations.
